IT Support Engineer - 4 month contract - Inside IR35 - London - Fully Office Based
We are seeking an experienced Deskside Engineer to provide face-to-face and remote technical support, manage IT assets, and keep day-to-day technology running smoothly for end users.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver face-to-face and remote IT support, managing tickets via ServiceNow with strong prioritisation and multi-tasking
- Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues across PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, and warehouse equipment
- Handle hardware installs, relocations, IMAC tasks, and coordinate with third-party vendors as needed
- Manage Windows 11 devices, patches, and updates via Intune and Autopilot; perform basic M365 admin (Entra ID, Intune)
- Support AV/conference rooms (Teams, Zoom) and manage mobile devices via MDM/Intune
- Handle user onboarding/offboarding, asset refresh campaigns, and CMDB maintenance in ServiceNow
Requirements
- Previous IT support experience, with strong Windows 10/11 and M365 proficiency
- Solid hardware diagnostic skills (PCs, laptops, printers/MFDs)
- Experience with Intune, Autopilot, Active Directory, and Azure
- Working knowledge of LAN/wireless/VPN basics; ServiceNow familiarity highly desirable
- ITIL certification a plus
- Strong communication, service focus, and ability to manage workload under pressure
