AIOps Programme Lead - Insurance

We are currently recruiting for a Programme Lead with a strong enterprise IT Operations background and any AIOps / ML knowledge to join one of our Insurance Clients on a 6 month contract.

Inside IR35 and mostly remote working with adhoc travel to London.

This is an operations role first. We are looking for someone who has run enterprise IT operations, knows how incidents, monitoring, and on-call really work at scale, and can delivery complex transformation.

Experience:

  • Lead the observability & AIOps programme: research, scoping, platform evaluation, proof-of-concept, business case, and delivery into production.
  • Design the operating model
  • Run a product evaluation and proof-of-concept on our own operational data, with success judged by the engineers who will live with the result.
  • Strong experience leading enterprise IT operations globally - service operations, infrastructure operations, SRE leadership, or major-incident command across a large, multi-domain estate.
  • Experience taking a significant programme from concept to production: business case, vendor evaluation, POC, stakeholder coalition, delivery governance.
  • Working fluency across the breadth of enterprise technology: applications, cloud and on-prem infrastructure, networking, identity, end-user computing. Deep expertise in one or two; credibility in all.
  • Real-world experience with the monitoring and observability landscape - events, metrics, logs, traces - and a clear-eyed view of what AIOps genuinely delivers versus what the marketing says.
  • Enterprise-scale ITSM/CMDB and event management experience.
  • Enough applied ML awareness (anomaly detection, event correlation) to evaluate vendor claims.

If this role is of interest and would like to know more, please apply now!
