The Opportunity
As an Infrastructure Windows Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, support, optimisation, and continuous improvement of the Microsoft infrastructure estate.
Operating within a complex and highly regulated environment, you'll play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and availability of core services that underpin critical banking operations.
This role offers exposure to large-scale enterprise technologies, infrastructure transformation programmes, and industry-leading security practices.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and support large-scale Windows Server environments across production and non-production platforms.
Manage core Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and certificate services.
Support and optimise VMware and virtualised infrastructure environments.
Drive infrastructure automation through PowerShell and other scripting technologies.
Deliver security hardening, vulnerability remediation, patching, and compliance activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventative measures.
Collaborate with Security, Cloud, Network, and Engineering teams on infrastructure enhancements and strategic projects.
Participate in major technology upgrades, platform migrations, and transformation initiatives.
