Our clients are part of an international shipping organisation with offices overseas and offer global logistics solutions worldwide. They are currently looking for an Ocean Export Operations Coordinator to join their team at their offices based near Romford. The role will be working within the ocean freight export department within a friendly team in nice open plan offices.

Purpose of the role: To manage a deep sea ocean freight export LCL groupage service from start to finish.

Duties will include:

  • Manage the LCL groupage export service
  • Organise the loading of the container
  • Liaison with overseas agents, handling any queries that may arise
  • Liaison with customers by phone and email
  • Organising transport with hauliers
  • Dealing with any packing restrictions
  • Making sure all paperwork is correct and in place prior to sailing

Hours of work are 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday.

Requirements: To be successful for the role you will need to have experience of working within export ocean freight shipments. You will have good communication skills and be able to work well under pressure when needed. Training will be provided on the company in-house system.

In return you will receive a generous salary of up to £35k and good company benefits including being eligible for a company bonus plus 5 weeks holiday, pension scheme, etc.
