Our clients are part of an International shipping organisation with offices overseas and offers global Logistics solutions Worldwide. They are currently looking for an Ocean Export Customer Service Coordinator to join their team at their offices based near Romford.
The purpose of the role: To provide excellent customer service whilst helping to manage the export process. The role will be working on FCL export shipments.
Duties will include:
- Responding to calls and emails from customers
- Opening files and putting bookings on the in-house system
- Liaison with Shipping Line to place bookings
- Sending confirmation to customers and updating the system
- Liaising with export documentation department to ensure everything is in place
- Liaison with overseas offices/agents
- Organising collections where necessary
- Dealing with any queries or problems that may arise
Hours of work: 0900 to 17:00 Monday to Friday
Salary: £26/30k negotiable depending on experience
Requirements: To be successful for the role you will ideally have some experience of working with a shipping, freight or logistics organisation ideally within sea freight exports. You will have good customer service skills and be able to work in a small team.
