Our client is a well-established freight forwarder dealing with Air, Road and Sea freight and is currently looking for a new member of staff to join their operations team. The role will be working on both Air and Sea freight Imports and Exports from start to finish. The company are looking for someone with some understanding of the industry, approximately 1-2 years experience, who is keen to move forward in a career within the freight forwarding sector.
Duties will include:
- Process Import air and sea road shipments from start to finish
- Process Export air and sea and road shipments from start to finish
- Quoting customers and searching for best rates
- Customs entries via CDS
- Using Cargowise system
Requirements:
Training will be provided for all modes of transport where needed as you will not be expected to have a full understanding of the industry. Any experience of customs entries will be an advantage but again this is not essential as full training will be given, including with Cargowise and CDS.
Benefits:
Salary around £25k negotiable for the right candidate.
