Our clients are part of an International shipping organisation with offices overseas and offers global Logistics solutions Worldwide. They are currently looking for an Ocean Export Customer Service Coordinator to join their team at their offices based near Romford.
The purpose of the role: To provide excellent customer service whilst helping to manage the export process. The role will be working on FCL export shipments.
Duties will include:
- Responding to calls and emails from customers
- Opening files and putting bookings on the in-house system
- Liaison with Shipping Line to place booking
- Send confirmation to customers and update the system
- Liaise with export documentation department to ensure everything is in place
- Liaison with overseas offices/agents
- Organise collections where necessary
- Deal with any queries or problems that may arise
Hours of work are **** to ***** Monday to Friday. Salary £*****k negotiable depending on experience.
Requirements: To be successful for the role you will ideally have some experience of working with a shipping, freight or logistics organisation ideally within sea freight exports. You will have good customer service skills and be able to work in a small team.
Benefits: 25 days holiday plus.
