Our client is a leading supplier of automotive engineering products and supplies customers throughout the UK. They have distribution centres in the UK and Europe and are now seeking a Product and Data Assistant to manage and co-ordinate product samples for their Essex centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack sample products from the warehouse according to specified instructions.
- Prepare Commercial Invoices.
- Package product samples for shipment.
- Organise stock control correctly ensuring samples are in date order whilst keeping an accurate record of incoming sample deliveries.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding updates of samples.
- Deal with any queries that arise.
- Coordinate with colleagues when necessary and facilitate communication between the parts and data teams to address and resolve product issues efficiently.
Monday-Friday 8.30am-5.30pm. Salary to £30,000.00 per annum.
Requirements:
- To be successful for the role you will need to have either a degree in Automotive Engineering or have previously worked within either engineering or in the motor industry.
- You will have a keen eye for detail and have excellent organisation and good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is essential.
