Our client is currently looking for a European Freight Forwarder for their Birmingham office. The company provides their own European service as well as offering Sea, Road and Air freight forwarding and UK haulage, along with storage solutions for their customers.

The role will be working in the European Groupage department on the Export desk within a small team. Duties will include:

  • Liaising with customers and overseas agents
  • Organising collections from customers' premises
  • Overseeing all paperwork and customs formalities
  • Working with Italian, German, Swiss and French export markets
  • Updating systems and keeping customers up to date with their consignments

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm. Salary will be dependent on experience.

Requirements: You will be required to have worked within a freight environment and have experience of dealing with European Export via Trailers.
