Heavy Equipment Mechanic

HD Mechanic – Relocate to Brisbane, Queensland – Sponsorship can be provided.

We’re currently looking for a skilled HD Mechanic to join a leading company in Brisbane, where you will be responsible for performing full mechanic duties on heavy vehicles. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about working with buses, trucks, and heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical components of buses and heavy vehicles.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs to ensure operational safety and performance.
• Diagnose faults in engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering, and hydraulic systems.
• Overhaul mechanical components, including engines, drivetrains, and related parts.
• Conduct system tests and make necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
• Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.

Key Requirements:

• Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (preferred).
• Minimum of three years’ relevant experience in heavy vehicle mechanics.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety.
