Weare looking for a friendly, organised and proactive person to join ourreception team.

Youwill be an important first point of contact for pupils, parents, visitors andstaff, so excellent people skills are essential. Alongside this, you will needa strong eye for detail, operate with sound judgement and a focussed commitment on getting thingsright.

Therole requires safeguarding awareness, discretion and confidentiality. You will hear or come across sensitive information and will need to understandprofessional boundaries and when information should be shared and reported.

Youwill be someone who takes ownership, follows things through and is confident toask questions or appropriately challenge when necessary. Attention to detailand persistence are particularly important when completing visitor and vettingchecks.

Thereis one vacancy. The successful candidate will be appointed to either:

  • Receptionist – Grade 3, term time plus two weeks
  • Receptionist & Marketing Assistant Grade 4, allyear round

Therole offered will be based on the candidate's skills, experience and the needsof the school.

TheGrade 4 role includes additional marketing and communications responsibilities,including promoting the school and its achievements, producing newsletters andother communications, supporting website and social media content, proofreadingand helping to promote and support school events. You will need to workaccurately and timely to deadlines and respond quickly when opportunities arise.

Marketingwork will be undertaken around the needs of reception, with greater opportunityduring school holidays.

Therole may also include occasional support in other areas of school and first aidduties following appropriate training.
