Loreto Grammar School is an 11-18 Roman Catholic Grammar School for Girls with Academy status located in Altrincham, in the Borough of Trafford. It is a thriving, successful and over-subscribed school, judged as “Outstanding” by Ofsted in September 2022 and by the Diocese of Shrewsbury. We are proud to have been named as the North West Secondary School of the Year 2025.
The Governing Body is seeking to appoint an outstanding Teacher of Music who is an enthusiastic and inspiring practitioner to join our Performing Arts Department. The ability to accompany and lead singing from the piano is essential and a teacher who is able to teach composition at A Level would be an advantage. The appointed applicant will be expected to teach at all Key Stages and be an engaged form tutor.
The successful applicant will join the established and supportive Loreto community and be expected to commit to the ethos and values of the School.
