We’re on the hunt for a talented Loss Adjuster to join our team here at Lorega Ltd. This pivotal role, reporting to our Operations Director, offers the flexibility of being home based. You will be responsible for receiving new claims instructions and providing chartered loss adjusting and claims consultancy services to our clients on all new claims from instruction through to settlement.
What does a Loss Adjuster here do? This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your line manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following:
- Handle broker technical enquiries by phone and e-mail.
- Manage new claims from instruction to completion, providing full support to our clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date claim records.
- Handle claims in line with the CILA Code of Conduct.
- Provide technical advice and support to our claims staff as required.
- Support our sales staff with Loss Recovery and ATE marketing efforts.
- Attend marketing events and assist with presentations for existing and potential clients.
- Actioning any ad-hoc requests.
What are we looking for in our next Loss Adjuster? This is an opportunity for someone with experience from an insurance, financial or risk sector. You will be computer literate and have experience of using both Microsoft Word and Excel. We are looking for someone who has:
- Holds a CILA qualification.
- Experience in Loss Adjusting, handling Commercial Property Material Damage and Business Interruption and Domestic Claims.
- A highly effective communicator who works well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
