Based in our AESOP London office, you will join the global creative team for Aesop, reporting to the Senior Art Director. This is a unique opportunity for a penultimate year student to gain insight into full campaign cycles, from brief to delivery, as part of an industrial placement. While your focus will be on asset preparation and presentation design, you will have opportunities to support the entire creative process, from conceptual ideation to campaign shooting and post-production.

Day-to-day, you will be:

  • Supporting the Senior Art Director with daily tasks and the delivery of campaigns.
  • Creating mock-ups and researching materials to support creative concepts.
  • Assisting with visual presentations, retouching notes, image cropping, and populating design templates.
  • Working on a range of design tasks, from simple layouts to more complex graphic solutions.

We are looking for a student with a proactive and positive attitude, and a desire to understand the Aesop brand in all its facets. You are a great match if you have a collaborative spirit and an interest in developing your skills in a unique, mentoring environment.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Design & Layout Expertise: Exceptional skills in typography, layout, and colour, with proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Visual Communication: The ability to assist in creating compelling presentations and guidelines using software like PowerPoint and Keynote.
  • Creative Support: An interest in photography and videography, assisting with research, sourcing, and image management.
  • Project Assistance: A knack for file preparation, organization, and populating templates to ensure successful campaign delivery.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Strong visual, written, and verbal communication skills to thrive in a team that leads with kindness.

You are in your second year of a university course that requires a one-year industrial placement.
