The Communications Manager, NEO (FTC) will partner with the business on the deployment of effective communication strategies and tactics to inform and engage employees working for L’Oréal UKI on the NEO project. NEO is a global transformation which will result in one business language, one cross-metier approach, and one end-to-end vision across the entire organization.

The ideal candidate is an innovative and entrepreneurial self-starter with extensive experience in planning and executing multi-faceted communication plans, with strong attention to detail, and the proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. This role requires building relationships throughout the Group and collaborating cross-functionally with a variety of internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Collaborate with transformation project leads to understand key milestones, impacts, and messaging needs.
  • Develop and execute project-related communication plans targeting specific internal stakeholder groups, e.g., general project awareness, stakeholder communication plans, townhall information points, developing monthly newsletter content, information related to platform shutdowns in the lead-up to go-live, key dates, etc.
  • Manage the implementation of global initiatives, strategically tailored to drive high adoption levels within the UKI business, e.g., adapting communication for employee surveys and emails at key project stages.
  • Build relationships with communication partners and key stakeholders to influence alignment and leverage ideas across teams.
  • Create or adapt compelling content including senior leader communications, articles, FAQs to connect employees to global and local NEO objectives, business initiatives, and departments.
  • Leverage various communication channels (intranet, newsletters, town halls, digital signage, etc.) to reach diverse audiences.
  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of communication and engagement efforts, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Create and maintain a content calendar for key communication formats, e.g., screens, monthly digests.
  • Oversee the production of UKI NEO videos, working with external providers.
  • Support the maintenance of the UKI NEO SharePoint site.
  • Oversee the go-live communication campaign for total UKI.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Self-motivated, with an entrepreneurial mindset and a proven track record as a self-starter.
  • Strong project management and communication skills, capable of executing programs and events efficiently and accurately.
  • Adaptable to changing business conditions.
  • Outstanding influencing and interpersonal skills, with experience working effectively with senior organizational members.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong listening abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud, Capcut, and Canva.
  • Unwavering commitment to quality—detail-oriented but able to see the big picture.
  • Team-oriented, with a strong sense of commitment to team members and clients.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft products.

Education and Experience

  • Extensive experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Degree required, preferably in Corporate Communications.
  • Experience in internal or corporate communications roles.
