A Day in the Life
As a Senior Demand Planner at L’Oréal, you’ll lead a dynamic team and play a pivotal role in shaping our demand planning strategy. Your day will be a mix of leadership and hands-on operational responsibilities. You’ll:
- Inspire and Lead: Guide and develop your team through one-on-one meetings and team sessions, helping them identify trends and refine forecasts.
- Collaborate and Forecast: Partner with brand teams to create consensus forecasts, integrating commercial insights, financial trends, and historical data.
- Challenge and Align: Work closely with Business Planning, Sales, and Marketing teams to refine promotional and launch forecasts, ensuring alignment across functions.
- Communicate and Influence: Present key insights, risks, and opportunities to senior management and maintain clear communication with S&OP and supply planning teams.
- Drive Efficiency: Lead process improvements, optimize catalogue management, and enhance customer service.
We Are Looking For
You’re a great match for this role if you:
- Have a proven track record in team development and leadership.
- Bring at least two years of experience in product planning (demand planning experience is a plus).
- Are confident in developing demand forecasts and analyzing sales trends, promotions, and other influencing factors.
- Possess exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.
- Show advanced proficiency in Excel, with experience in FuturMaster and SAP as a bonus.
- Have a proactive mindset, always seeking to improve processes and challenge the status quo.
