Role Overview

As the Media Transformation & Performance Intern, you will sit at the leading edge of L'Oréal UKI’s digital evolution. Working across our central Media and Performance teams, you will play a dual role: first, supporting the end-to-end rollout of Melody, our global media platform, and second, helping to spearhead our transition from traditional SEO to GEO (Generative Engine Optimization). You won't just be managing data; you will be building the “Blueprints” for how L'Oréal wins in a digital‑first, AI‑driven market.

Responsibilities

  • Platform Rollout Support: Assisting in the UKI deployment of the Melody platform, working closely with both L'OrĂ©al and our agency partners at Publicis.
  • Data Migration & Auditing: Auditing legacy media data to ensure it is migration‑ready and strictly compliant with Melody’s global taxonomy and structure.
  • Blueprint Creation: Designing “How‑to” guides and standardized internal playbooks to ensure consistent and effective platform usage across all brand teams.
  • Retail Media Transformation: Assisting the Performance Media team as they evolve and optimize our direct‑to‑retail media operations.
  • SEO to GEO Taskforce: Playing a key supporting role in the newly established taskforce focused on transitioning our search strategy toward Generative AI environments.
  • Performance Tracking: Gathering feedback from media stakeholders to identify friction points and mapping out opportunities for further digital integration.
  • Internal Animation: Helping to present media transformation milestones in internal digital newsletters or team showcases.

Qualifications

  • Digital Fluency: A strong interest in the changing media landscape, particularly the shift toward AI and Generative Search (GEO).
  • Analytical Precision: The ability to audit large datasets and ensure strict adherence to naming conventions and taxonomy structures.
  • Communication Skills: The confidence to translate complex platform technicalities into clear, user‑friendly “Blueprints” for non‑technical teams.
  • Problem‑Solving Mindset: A natural curiosity to identify data “friction points” and a desire to build more efficient workflows.
  • Proactivity: A “self‑starter” attitude with the ability to manage multiple projects across different taskforces (Melody vs. Performance Media).
  • Stakeholder Management: The ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external agency partners.

Eligibility

Returning to University – while a graduate is not eligible, a current student is required for this role.
