WAREHOUSE TEAM MANAGER (PM SHIFT)
PM SHIFT - Trafford Park Distribution Centre
What we’re looking for
The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader of operational teams and possess a strong understanding of warehouse processes, Manhattan Warehouse Management System, and have excellent people skills.
A day in the life
- Lead the PM shift team to deliver the growth for CPD & LDB Divisions.
- Lead by example in safety management, helping to develop an interdependent culture within one of the largest teams in the DC.
- Manage the day-to-day operation in your area ensuring that all targets are met, flexing resource to areas as and when needed.
- Develop a strong, collaborative working relationship with other shifts and departments (FLOWS, Stock Control, Quality Team).
- Actively contribute to the sites key results within the Physical Distribution vision.
- Communicate effectively to the warehouse colleagues, share with them UKI updates as well as shift briefs and general information. Ensure this is understood at all levels within your team.
- Instil feedback and a personal development culture for the PM team, share with them feedback on their performance and have dedicated 1-2-1 conversations to discuss their personal development.
- Lead your team with courage and commitment.

- Experience of Manhattan Warehouse Management System.
