As the Head of Advocacy & Influence for the Consumer Products Division, you will set and implement our vision to be the most talked about, most loved, and most future‑proofed makeup brands in the industry. You will lead your team to drive a forward-thinking social strategy across all channels, ensuring we are always present and relevant on the hottest makeup platforms, leading the latest trends such as winning on Live. In addition, you’ll deliver a clear advocacy strategy for the team, building our brands with the most relevant people and partners—from influencers and celebrities to journalists and partners—and obsess over bringing consumers into our brand while exploring new ways to build strong communities through platforms like Bulbshare. You will work closely with the CMO team, the CPD Head of Digital Transformation, and be a key pioneer of advocacy and community for digital‑native brands within the group.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Manage, coach and grow a strong team of Social Brand Managers, Senior Advocacy Manager & Assistant, ensuring the right profiles and ways of working to maximise our brands’ vision.
- Be a key close partner for our UKI CDO team, as well as our Digital & Ecommerce teams working closely with retail partners.
- Build close partnerships with relevant external stakeholders such as platform leads, retailers and talent agencies.
- Share best practices and knowledge across the Consumer Products Division.
- Drive the vision for our three brands' advocacy missions to prioritise brand love and talkability with a future‑proofed strategy.
- Oversee Social Brand Managers’ creation of all organic and paid content across social channels, ensuring it is hyper‑relevant and forward‑thinking, and analyse what works in real time to identify future opportunities.
- Set a clear vision for your team on our celebrity and influencer strategy in partnership with our brands, developing close relationships with stakeholders and exploring new, relevant opportunities.
- Work closely with our PR, brand and charity partners, oversee the Comms Manager to ensure best‑in‑class partnerships, and create cut‑through events and brand moments that engage our communities.
WHO YOU ARE
- Proven experience in social, advocacy, influence or communications—ideally within a fast‑paced consumer brand, agency or media environment.
- A strong people leader with a track record of managing, coaching and growing multidisciplinary teams.
- Deeply knowledgeable of the social and influencer landscape with a natural instinct for cultural relevance.
- Commercially astute—able to connect brand love and talkability to tangible business impact.
- A confident and credible communicator, comfortable influencing senior stakeholders internally and externally.
- A self‑starter who thrives in fast‑paced, ever‑evolving environments.
- Collaborative by nature, able to build strong relationships across functions and with external partners.
