About the Role

Responsibilities
- Employee Lifecycle Management: Providing essential support on generalist HR tasks, including contract changes, onboarding logistics, and offboarding procedures.
- Employee Relations: Supporting HR Business Partners with employee relations cases, ensuring all documentation is accurate and company policies are upheld.
- Project Management: Assisting with the rollout of key HR initiatives, such as annual employee engagement surveys (Pulse) and culture-building workshops.
- Operational Excellence: Maintaining data integrity within our HR systems and seeking ways to improve existing HR processes for better efficiency.
- Community Engagement: Partnering with our "NextGen" community to ensure our intern and apprentice talent are integrated and supported.
- Ad-hoc Advisory: Acting as a first point of contact for employee queries, providing clear and helpful guidance on L'Oréal's HR policies.
Profile
- Proactivity & Drive: You are a "self-starter" with a strong sense of ownership and a desire to see projects through to completion.
- Passionate about HR: You have a genuine interest in Human Resources as a career and a foundational understanding of the "Generalist" model (the mix of operational, administrative, and strategic people management).
- Communication Excellence: You can build relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Detail-Oriented: You understand that in HR, accuracy is non-negotiable. You have a keen eye for detail in every task you perform.
- Tech Savvy: You are proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, and are comfortable learning new HR information systems.
Eligibility: You must currently be in your second year of university on a course that allows for a one-year Industrial Placement.
