About the Role
As the Head of Scientific Advisory for the UK and Ireland, you will lead a team of scientific advisors, acting as the central source of scientific expertise for our brands. You will be pivotal in translating complex science into compelling, consumer‑facing claims, ensuring we communicate with integrity and impact. This strategic role involves close collaboration with Brand, Legal, and Corporate Affairs teams to uphold our scientific credibility in the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Scientific Strategy & Development: Motivate and guide your team, fostering a culture of knowledge‑sharing and ensuring consistent, high‑quality review of all scientific claims and content.
- Ensure Claim Integrity & Compliance: Oversee the validation of all product efficacy and usage claims on communications, including packaging and advertising, ensuring they are compelling and compliant with regulations.
- Drive Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships with Brand, Legal, and Marketing teams, providing strategic scientific support and advice across all product categories.
- Champion Scientific Credibility: Act as the technical representative for our brands at press launches and manage submissions to advertising authorities, safeguarding our science with regulatory bodies.
