If you\’re a results-driven individual with a passion for numbers and analysis, the Finance Management Trainee Scheme at L\’Oréal offers an unparalleled opportunity to kickstart your career. From day one, you\’ll be entrusted with real responsibilities, enabling you to make a tangible impact while developing your skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Each year, we welcome up to 35 graduates from diverse academic backgrounds to join our programme across five business areas. Over 12 months, you\’ll complete two 6-month rotations, gaining exposure to a variety of roles that will provide you with a strong foundation for your future career at L\’Oréal.
What You\\\’ll Do
At L\’Oréal, Finance is central to decision-making and works closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams. As a delocalised function, Finance is embedded within the business, ensuring you\\\’re at the heart of the action.
Your rotations may include experiences in:
- Commercial Finance: Partnering with sales and marketing teams to drive business growth.
- Corporate Finance: Managing budgets and financial reporting.
- Internal Controls: Ensuring compliance and risk management.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Supporting strategic decision-making.
- Associated Functions: Such as Purchasing, to broaden your expertise.
You\\\’ll be expected to bring a results-driven mindset, strong analytical skills, and a keen attention to detail. Initiative and the ability to contribute fresh ideas will be key to your success.
Your Day-to-Day Could Include
- Researching and presenting cost-saving strategies to senior management.
- Managing budgets for brands worth over £2.5M.
- Controlling costs and conducting ad hoc analysis for stakeholders.
- Participating in budget planning, forecasting, and monthly financial reporting.
- Supporting monthly financial closings, including accruals and journal entries.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Eligibility
- Final-year university students graduating in 2026 or recent graduates (within the last two years).
