What You\’ll Do
At L\’Oréal, Finance is central to decision-making and works closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams. As a delocalised function, Finance is embedded within the business, ensuring you\’re at the heart of the action.
Your rotations may include experiences in:
- Commercial Finance: Partnering with sales and marketing teams to drive business growth.
- Corporate Finance: Managing budgets and financial reporting.
- Internal Controls: Ensuring compliance and risk management.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Supporting strategic decision-making.
- Associated Functions: Such as Purchasing, to broaden your expertise.
You\’ll be expected to bring a results-driven mindset, strong analytical skills, and a keen attention to detail. Initiative and the ability to contribute fresh ideas will be key to your success.
Your Day-to-Day Could Include
- Researching and presenting cost-saving strategies to senior management.
- Managing budgets for brands worth over £2.5M.
- Controlling costs and conducting ad hoc analysis for stakeholders.
- Participating in budget planning, forecasting, and monthly financial reporting.
- Supporting monthly financial closings, including accruals and journal entries.
