A DAY IN THE LIFE
As a Warehouse Team Leader within the Order Preparation team, you will support the Team Manager at our Trafford Distribution Centre, playing a key role in the success of our AM shift. You will be at the heart of our team and operation, ensuring a seamless flow from order to dispatch for our Consumer Products and Dermatological Beauty divisions.
Responsibilities
Lead, Manage & Motivate: Guide your team to meet daily operational targets, fostering a proactive and efficient work environment on the shop floor. You will manage day to day people matters, including conducting regular performance reviews, supporting team member development, managing absence, and escalating issues where required.
Maintain Standards: Uphold and drive continuous improvement in Health & Safety, quality, and housekeeping standards within your area.
Ensure Performance: Work with the management team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently, accurately, and on time, making sure orders are picked to the highest standard.
Collaborate for Success: Support the Team Manager and fellow Team Leaders to ensure operational priorities are met daily, weekly, and monthly.

Operational Expertise: You have an excellent understanding of warehouse picking and quality processes, experience with WMS (Manhattan) would be beneficial though not essential.
Organized & Proactive: You thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling tasks and priorities with ease. Your logical approach to problem-solving helps you anticipate challenges and implement proactive solutions.
Adaptable & Results-Oriented: You\’re comfortable assessing changing priorities and adjusting your workflow to meet deadlines. Strong Excel and analytical skills help you make data-driven decisions.
Self-Aware: You have a good level of self-awareness, listening to feedback to grow as a leader.
Self-Motivated: You have a high degree of self-motivation and the ability to lead and motivate a team of people towards a shared goal.
