We’re looking for a Search Manager who’s passionate about the future of organic discovery, someone who can bridge classical SEO excellence with the new frontier of Generative and LLM-powered search engines. In this role, you’ll lead strategies to grow visibility, authority, and engagement across both traditional search engines (Google) and emerging AI-powered discovery platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, etc.), ensuring that our content ecosystem is optimized for how people search and find information. You’ll collaborate closely with Content factory and Brand teams crafting high-performing content that ranks, engages, and converts.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • SEO & Classical Search
  • Own the organic performance roadmap, setting quarterly KPIs for traffic, visibility, and conversion.
  • Conduct keyword, intent, and SERP analysis to inform content creation and optimisation.
  • Lead technical SEO audits (crawlability, site speed, structured data, internal linking).
  • Partner with content, media, and web teams to ensure SEO best practices across all touchpoints.
  • LLM & Generative Search Optimisation
    • Develop a Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) framework to ensure brand visibility within AI answers, summaries, and citations.
    • Analyse emerging AI search ecosystems (e.g., ChatGPT Browse, Perplexity, Gemini, Bing Copilot, Meta AI) and identify ranking or citation opportunities.
    • Partner with Brand teams to structure information to increase inclusion in LLMs.
    • Collaborate with Advocacy & Influence teams for editorial and conversational content, optimised for entity recognition and topic authority.
    • Build monitoring processes to track brand presence in AI-generated responses and adjust strategy accordingly together with SEO-agency.
  • Insights & Innovation
    • Maintain a test-and-learn culture around organic growth experiments (snippet optimisation, schema changes, zero-click results).
    • Stay ahead of AI search evolution, evaluating new tools, APIs, and partnerships that can future-proof visibility.
    • Educate stakeholders on the evolving nature of search and champion the role of organic as a growth engine.

    Who You Are

    • Strong experience in SEO, organic growth, or content performance management.
    • Proven success driving measurable organic traffic and engagement.
    • Deep understanding of search algorithms, ranking factors, and content optimisation.

    • Familiarity with LLM-based search platforms and AI content optimisation (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, etc.).
