Role objective
Drive Growth and Operational Excellence for Amazon UK as the Divisional Head of Amazon
KPIs
- Net Sales GMV Sell out
- Market Share Growth
- Share of Voice – Organic and Paid
- Performance Metrics; conversion rates, traffic metrics
A DAY IN A LIFE
- Lead dedicated Amazon team and be responsible for the growth of Amazon UK within the division
- Drive collaboration between all functions responsible for optimising and growing sales including and not limited to supply, commercial, media, SEO, activation, ensuring that they focused on the aligned KPIs.
- Deliver a route to a more profitable business over the next 3 years
- Driver of Amazon Tech ensuring usage and development of future Amazon tech requirements; feed into best practices across divisions.
- Develop and oversee the eCommerce Trading Calendar, identifying possible campaigns promotions, content and search engine optimization opportunities
- AVS Service Quality Escalation
- Feed into requirements of market for PAN EU AVN
- Be direct market contact for PAN EU Divisional Lead
- Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify areas of growth.
- Liaise with business intelligence analyst and retail media planner to ensure efficiency and optimisation is data driven
- Act as the .com spokesperson for the Amazon team, reporting findings and results throughout the division to increase the exposure of Amazon
About You
- Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership skills to lead and motivate a dedicated Amazon team, driving performance and growth.
- Strategic Planning: Ability to develop and execute strategic plans, such as the eCommerce Trading Calendar, to drive sales and visibility on Amazon platforms.
- In-depth Knowledge of Amazon: detailed understanding of how to win on Amazon and the levers that the business would be able to pull to be successful. Needs to be seen as the Amazon expert by the team.
- Collaboration and Communication: Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, such as business intelligence, retail media planning, activation, and selling teams, supply to drive efficiency and optimization
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to use data insights to drive decision-making processes, optimize strategies, and measure performance against KPIs.
