Responsibilities
- As the Digital Finance & Automation Intern (Project Fast-Track), lead a high-impact mission to revolutionize financial operations.
- Design and prototype an automated “bridge” between incoming customer invoices and internal BPM/Power Apps tools to eliminate manual data entry and accelerate speed-to-market.
- Process Auditing: Analyze a variety of invoice formats (PDFs/Excel) from top customers to identify critical data fields for internal systems.
- Solution Architecting: Explore no-code extraction methods; test Power Automate AI Builder for document processing versus structured Excel conversion.
- Flow Development: Build automated workflows where users drop an invoice into a folder for automatic data extraction and preparation.
- Sandbox Testing: Run end-to-end simulations to ensure data integrity between invoices and Power Apps tools.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Collaborate with Finance and Operations to test the tool's accuracy and build manual review protocols for edge-case invoices.
- SOP Creation: Produce professional Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation for ongoing maintenance and scalability after the 10-week tenure.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Technical Curiosity: Interest in no-code solutions, automation, or the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate/Power Apps).
- Analytical Rigor: Ability to audit complex documents and map structured data fields (e.g., Invoice Numbers, Tax, Currency) with high attention to detail.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Desire to replace repetitive manual tasks with automated solutions.
- Logical Thinking: Ability to design if/then logic and error-handling steps for unreadable data.
- Proactivity: Self-starter attitude with drive to take a project from initial audit to functional prototype in 10 weeks.
