Overview: At L'Oréal Luxe, influencer marketing, press coverage, and events are crucial for connecting our 20+ international brands with the right audiences. Each brand possesses a unique voice, demanding tailored advocacy strategies and a blend of creativity and perseverance. As an Advocacy Intern, you’ll be the human face of these brands, contributing to everything from product launches and influencer trips to innovative PR mailouts. This role needs a strong team player with a passion for social media and the beauty industry. Working within the press office, you’ll collaborate with internal teams and external agency partners to shape and deliver our brand narratives to press and influencers. You’ll manage your own projects, gaining exposure to senior management while supporting the day-to-day operations of the advocacy team.

Project Ownership

  • Conceptualise and execute your own influencer activations, such as targeted influencer mailers, to drive measurable results. This includes end-to-end project management, from ideation to analysis.

Data Analysis & Strategy

  • Develop proficiency in using data analysis to inform advocacy strategies and optimise campaign performance.

Our Advocacy Interns are integral to achieving our advocacy goals and maintaining a positive brand image. In today’s dynamic and increasingly digital beauty landscape, your work will be essential for successful product launches and sustained brand growth.

Day-to-Day You Will

  • Manage external agency partners to deliver engaging content and mailers.
  • Assist in the organisation and execution of events, ensuring seamless logistics and impactful experiences.
  • Utilise tracking platforms (Traackr/MIM) to analyse campaign performance and provide actionable insights.
  • Monitor influencer activity and press coverage, identifying and sharing key wins with relevant teams.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, media, and activation teams to execute successful product launches.
  • Manage daily press office functions, including responding to urgent mailers and information requests; this involves utilising stock ordering and warehouse systems (Linney/NCO) and postal services (DSV).
