Ad Tech and Analytics Manager – CDMO

As the Ad Tech and Analytics Manager, you will strategically implement and optimise ad tech solutions, ensuring robust data management and impactful analytics. You will drive advanced solutions that elevate L\’Oréal\’s digital media performance, maintain compliance, empower data‑driven decisions, foster collaboration, and integrate innovative technologies like generative AI.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Oversee and optimise APIs (e.g., CAPI, eAPI) for data collection and integration.
  • Manage tracking pixels and tags, ensuring data accuracy and reliability across digital platforms.
  • Manage and utilise essential tools for brand safety, media sustainability, taxonomy, reporting, and analytics, collaborating with media agencies.

Media Tech Platform Operations

  • Lead strategic ad account architecture for optimal performance, security, and compliance.
  • Manage the seamless roll‑out of new media platform functionalities and tools.
  • Troubleshoot issues across major Ad Tech platforms (Meta, TikTok, DV360, Amazon) as the primary contact.

Media Technology Innovation

  • Implement transformative generative AI solutions to enhance ad tech and analytics capabilities.
  • Act as a strategic point of contact for the Digital Advisory Board (DAB), supporting onboarding, integration, and scalability of new AdTech vendors and technological evolutions, including the SOV partner.
  • Collaborate with global and zone teams to align strategies, share best practices, and drive AdTech and analytics adoption.

Privacy & Compliance

  • Ensure GDPR compliance across all digital marketing activities and data collection processes.
  • Manage privacy briefs for new technologies and maintain the privacy register.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Aid in developing media performance dashboards with the CDMO Data team and media agencies.
  • Analyse campaign performance and prepare strategic actionable reports.
  • Support broader measurement initiatives such as Marketing Mix Models.

Audience Strategy

  • Manage, activate, and measure first‑party data audience performance across media.
  • Facilitate key partnerships and integration for second‑party data across media.
  • Oversee Amazon Marketing Cloud operations and development.

Market Intelligence

  • Stay up‑to‑date with ad tech trends and privacy regulations to ensure compliance and drive innovation.
  • Evaluate and recommend impactful new solutions to enhance capabilities.

Who You Are

  • Demonstrable experience in ad tech, analytics, or digital marketing.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing technologies, data management platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Experience with privacy regulations (especially GDPR) and their impact on digital marketing.
  • Proficiency in APIs, pixels, and ad account management across major digital platforms.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Passion for ad tech innovation and staying ahead of industry trends.
  • Outstanding problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, explaining technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with audience management and data activation strategies.
  • Enthusiasm for emerging technologies, particularly AI and machine learning.
