We are looking for a passionate and guest-focused Luggage Porter/Door Person to join our Front Office team. This is a highly visible and guest-facing role where you will act as a Luggage Porter, Door Person, concierge support and valet assistant, ensuring every guest journey is seamless from arrival through to departure.
As one of the first and last people our guests interact with, you will play a key role in creating exceptional first impressions and delivering intuitive service. You will warmly welcome guests, assist with luggage handling, support guest arrivals and departures, maintain an active presence at the hotel entrance and lobby, and ensure each interaction reflects the standards and personality of Sea Containers London.
The role also includes assisting guests with local recommendations, arranging transportation where required, supporting Front Office operations during busy periods and helping deliver memorable guest experiences. You will work closely with the wider Front Office team and play an important part in ensuring daily operations run smoothly.
As part of the role, you will also support valet services. This includes safely driving guest vehicles and assisting with vehicle management processes. Therefore, a full UK driving licence is essential for this position.
We are looking for someone with previous hospitality, concierge, guest services, luggage porter or customer-facing experience who naturally enjoys engaging with people. You will be proactive, professional and confident in creating positive experiences while remaining calm in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility is important, as the role will involve shift work including evenings, weekends and holidays.
