We're looking for HGV Drivers to join the team at our Moulton Park branch in Northampton. This is a hands-on role in a busy builders' merchant, where no two days are the same and everyone chips in to get the job done. You'll be out on the road delivering building materials to our customers, representing the branch with professionalism and care. Back at base, you'll support the yard when needed - loading your own vehicle, helping the team, and keeping things moving. It's a small team with a flexible approach, so being willing to muck in makes all the difference.
What you’ll be doing:
- Multi-drop deliveries of building materials
- Loading and unloading safely, both at the branch and on-site
- Providing a high level of customer service on every delivery
- Supporting the yard team when required
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and working to H&S standards
Requirements:
- Class 1 or Class 2 (Cat C / C+E) licence
- HIAB licence (preferred)
- Experience within a builders' merchant environment
- Forklift licence (advantageous)
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety
- A team player with a flexible, can-do attitude
- Comfortable with physical work and manual handling
