We’re looking for an Accounts Apprentice to join our Group Finance team at our Hanger Green office. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands‑on experience while completing your Level 3 Assistant Accountant apprenticeship (delivered by BPP) — with all learning carried out in the workplace.
You’ll be at the heart of the finance team — supporting colleagues across multiple areas while building the skills that will set you up for a long‑term career.
Responsibilities
- Learning core finance processes and supporting the team as your skills develop
- Assisting with Excel analysis, reporting and tracking trends
- Supporting payroll processes, including pensions and deductions
- Assisting with company secretarial and general finance admin tasks
- Supporting treasury activities including bank mandates and KYC requests
- Helping with energy procurement and supplier‑related tasks
- Assisting with monthly reconciliations and balance sheet reviews
- Providing support across the wider finance team, including cover when needed
- Shadowing different team members to understand how the finance function operates
Requirements
- GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade 4 or above)
- Someone hardworking, reliable and eager to learn
- Strong attention to detail and organisation
- A proactive, can‑do attitude
- Good problem‑solving skills and an analytical mindset
- Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
- A team player who enjoys supporting others
Location: Hanger Green, W5
Hours: 9am‑5.30pm Mon‑Fri
