We are looking for a reliable and motivated 3.5 tonne Van Driver to join our busy Ladbroke Grove branch. This is a varied, hands-on role where you will combine delivery driving with supporting the yard team to help keep our operations running smoothly. You will play a key part in delivering building materials to customers across London and the South East, loading and unloading safely, and providing great customer service. When not out on the road, you will assist in the yard with picking orders, stock movement, loading vehicles and helping customers.
What you will do:
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries using a 3.5t vehicle
- Load and unload materials safely at the branch and on-site
- Provide excellent customer service on every delivery
- Support yard operations including picking, packing and stock handling
- Keep vehicles and yard areas tidy, safe and well organised
- Work as part of a hardworking, friendly team
Hours: 7am–5pm Monday to Friday, 7am–12pm alternate Saturdays
What you will need:
- Valid UK driving licence and clean driving record
- Previous experience in delivery driving, ideally multi-drop in London
- Forklift licence
- Physical fitness and confidence lifting heavy items
- Knowledge of building materials (advantage but not essential)
- Strong understanding of safe working and manual handling
- Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Eligibility to work in the UK
