We’re excited to be launching a brand-new Lords Builders Merchants branch in Bicester, and we’re looking for a friendly and driven Trade Counter Sales Executive to join the team from day one. This is a sales-focused, customer-facing role, working from the Trade Counter to provide an exceptional experience to both trade and retail customers. You’ll play a key role in helping us grow the branch’s reputation and customer base, while supporting day-to-day operations and maintaining a welcoming, well-organised sales environment. You’ll be confident processing orders, handling queries, and assisting both customers and suppliers in a fast-paced environment. You’ll take pride in offering excellent service while managing stock displays and ensuring our product areas are clean, organised, and engaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers at the Trade Counter, delivering outstanding service
- Generate sales from new and existing customers
- Process orders, quotes, and enquiries efficiently and accurately
- Manage stock displays, merchandising, and inventory organisation
- Liaise with suppliers to handle product queries and stock availability
- Help maintain a safe, tidy, and professional environment
- Work collaboratively with the wider branch team to support operations
