We’re looking for an enthusiastic and sales-driven Sales Executive to join the team at Lords Builders Merchants in Aylesbury. If you’re passionate about sales, know your way around building materials, and enjoy working with customers to find the right solutions, this is a fantastic opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced, supportive environment. You’ll be at the heart of our branch’s success—responding to enquiries, preparing quotes, processing orders, and helping customers get the products they need, when they need them. It’s a role that combines relationship-building, product knowledge, and commercial awareness.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Handling customer enquiries by phone, email, and in person
  • Preparing accurate and competitive quotes
  • Building strong relationships with existing trade and retail customers while developing new business locally
  • Promoting Lords’ full range of products and services
  • Working closely with colleagues to deliver great service every time

What we’re looking for:

  • At least 2 years’ sales experience within builders’ merchants or the wider construction materials trade
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach
  • Confidence using order systems, email and basic IT tools
  • A team player who takes pride in doing a great job
  • Reliable transport due to branch location
  • Right to work in the UK
