We’re looking for an experienced and reliable HGV Driver to join the team at our newly rebranded Lords Builders Merchants in Horsham. If you take pride in doing a great job, enjoy being out on the road, and like working with customers, this is a solid opportunity to join a friendly, hardworking team.
What You’ll Do
- Carry out deliveries using 3.5t and Class 2 vehicles
- Load and unload building materials safely at both the branch and on-site
- Provide excellent service on every delivery
- Keep vehicles clean, safe, and roadworthy through daily checks
- Support general branch operations when required
Hours & Benefits
- Hours: 7am-4.30pm Mon-Fri, 8am-12pm alternate Saturdays
- Holiday: 21 days per year plus Bank Holidays
- Benefits: Discretionary bonus scheme
What You’ll Need
- Full Class 2 (Category C) licence, valid Driver CPC and digital tacho card
- Experience driving both 3.5t and Class 2 vehicles
- Strong understanding of road safety and delivery procedures
- Physically fit and confident handling heavy goods
- Positive, can‑do attitude and good team spirit
- Eligibility to work in the UK
