Role Description

Are you an experienced merchanting professional ready to lead a flagship branch? This is a fantastic opportunity to take the reins at Lords Builders Merchants Park Royal, our premier location in London NW10. We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Branch Manager who thrives on building strong teams, delivering outstanding customer service, and driving business growth.

As Branch Manager, you will oversee the full day-to-day running of the branch—including sales, customer service, team leadership, stock management, and health & safety compliance. Your role will be to inspire your team to deliver an unbeatable service experience, grow the customer base, and establish lasting relationships with clients in the local area.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate a high-performing team to achieve sales and service targets
• Manage branch operations, including inventory control and stock accuracy
• Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth
• Build and nurture strong relationships with customers and suppliers
• Maintain full compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company policies
• Identify opportunities for improvement and drive branch performance

Competitive Salary Offered

Hours: 40 hours per week, some Saturdays when required

Holiday: 24 days per year plus Bank Holidays

• Proven experience in a managerial role within the building supplies industry
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety and compliance standards
• A proactive approach to sales generation and customer engagement
• First-rate organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Solid understanding of current industry trends and customer needs
