Help keep our branch moving. At Lords Builders Merchants in Beaconsfield, we’re looking for an experienced Forklift Truck Driver to join our busy yard team. This is an important role at the centre of the operation — keeping stock moving safely and efficiently, supporting customers and drivers, and helping to maintain high standards across the yard. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Operating a forklift safely and efficiently around the yard and warehouse
  • Loading and unloading customer and supplier vehicles
  • Picking and preparing customer orders accurately
  • Supporting customers collecting materials from the branch
  • Maintaining excellent housekeeping and yard organisation standards
  • Carrying out routine vehicle and equipment checks
  • Assisting with stock control and reporting shortages or damages
  • Working closely with the wider branch team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

What We’re Looking For

  • A valid forklift licence and previous forklift driving experience
  • Experience working within a Builders Merchant environment
  • Good awareness of health and safety within a busy yard setting
  • Reliable and proactive approach to work
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Good attention to detail and organisation
  • Eligibility to work in the UK

Due to the branch location, your own transport is required.
