We’re looking for a Roofing Manager to lead and grow our roofing offer at Lords Builders Merchants in Beaconsfield. This is a key role where your technical knowledge, commercial focus and customer relationships will directly shape the success of the department.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Being the branch expert for all roofing systems and materials
- Supporting trade and retail customers with product selection, technical advice and solutions
- Preparing accurate quotes and processing orders efficiently
- Proactively following up enquiries and identifying opportunities to grow sales
- Managing roofing stock in line with demand and seasonal trends
- Building strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Supporting site visits where required
- Working closely with the wider branch team and contributing to overall sales
What We’re Looking For
- Strong technical knowledge of roofing materials and systems - essential
- Experience in the builders merchant or roofing supply sector
- A proactive, sales-driven approach with a focus on growing your customer base
- Confident communication and natural relationship-building skills
- Well organised, with the ability to manage quotes, orders and stock effectively
- Good IT skills
- A valid UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
The details
- Hours: 7.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday
- Saturdays: 7.00am - 12.00pm (alternate)
- Holiday: 22 days plus Bank Holidays
- Salary: Competitive
- Benefits: Discretionary bonus scheme
