We’re looking for a Roofing Manager to lead and grow our roofing offer at Lords Builders Merchants in Beaconsfield. This is a key role where your technical knowledge, commercial focus and customer relationships will directly shape the success of the department.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Being the branch expert for all roofing systems and materials
  • Supporting trade and retail customers with product selection, technical advice and solutions
  • Preparing accurate quotes and processing orders efficiently
  • Proactively following up enquiries and identifying opportunities to grow sales
  • Managing roofing stock in line with demand and seasonal trends
  • Building strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Supporting site visits where required
  • Working closely with the wider branch team and contributing to overall sales

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong technical knowledge of roofing materials and systems - essential
  • Experience in the builders merchant or roofing supply sector
  • A proactive, sales-driven approach with a focus on growing your customer base
  • Confident communication and natural relationship-building skills
  • Well organised, with the ability to manage quotes, orders and stock effectively
  • Good IT skills
  • A valid UK driving licence
  • Right to work in the UK

The details

  • Hours: 7.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday
  • Saturdays: 7.00am - 12.00pm (alternate)
  • Holiday: 22 days plus Bank Holidays
  • Salary: Competitive
  • Benefits: Discretionary bonus scheme
