We’re looking for a dependable and proactive Assistant Branch Manager to join our team at the newly opened branch of Lords Builders Merchants in Bicester. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day running of a busy branch and is ready to take the next step in their career.

Working closely with the Branch Manager, you’ll support all areas of the operation — from customer service and sales to stock control and team coordination. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and is comfortable stepping in wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily branch operations and team support
  • Help manage stock, transport, and purchasing processes
  • Engage with customers and support the sales team to drive growth
  • Ensure health & safety and company standards are maintained
  • Support team development and performance, including HR tasks
  • Carry out admin duties such as cash reconciliation and banking
  • Contribute to high standards across the branch in service and presentation

Competitive Salary Offered

Hours: 7am-5pm Mon-Fri, 7am-12pm alternate Saturdays

Holiday: 21 days per year plus Bank Holidays
