Lord Wandsworth College seeks to appoint a Spanish Language Assistant to inspire our pupils and to contribute fully to the flourishing Modern Languages Department. The Spanish Language Assistant will support the teaching of Spanish throughout the school, enhancing students’ oral proficiency, cultural understanding, and enthusiasm for the language. This role will offer 1-2-1 and small group practice to complement classroom learning. The Spanish Assistant will be timetabled to join a teacher for certain lessons so that they have contact with every Spanish class, and sometimes asked to help with speaking assessments. Most of the tasks asked of the Spanish Assistant will be devised in liaison with the class teacher, but you may also be asked to devise and prepare resources.
