We are seeking to appoint a fixed-term, 2 terms Teacher of Geography, starting Janurary 2027.

We are looking for someone who can read a landscape. Someone who sees the stories written into hills and rivers, rocks and weather, settlements and communities. Someone whose own curiosity about the world is still very much alive, and who loves opening that world up for young people.
Because Geography is about much more than knowing where places are. It is about understanding why they are there, how they came to be, the forces shaping them now and what might happen next. At its best, it changes the way you look at the world around you.
At Lord Wandsworth College, there is plenty of world to look at. Our 1,200-acre campus gives pupils an extraordinary landscape in which to explore, question and discover. Woodlands, farmland, watercourses and settlements become part of the classroom. And, from our position high above the Hampshire countryside, even the weather has a habit of making itself known. There are few better places to watch a weather system making its way across the valley.
We want a teacher who will bring that same sense of curiosity and discovery into every lesson. Someone who can help pupils make connections between places, people and ideas, and who can tell the story of a landscape so compellingly that they want to know what happens next.
You will join bright, curious pupils, an ambitious and refreshingly unstuffy staff community, and a school where education deliberately extends far beyond the classroom. Geography already thrives here. We are looking for someone with the energy, imagination and subject knowledge to help it thrive still further.
