Are you an experienced Continuous Improvement professional looking for a role where your ideas stick, your data drives decisions and your impact is visible? This is a high-profile opportunity to act as a subject-matter expert for Continuous Improvement within a well-established, forward-thinking manufacturing organisation.
The opportunity:
- Reporting to the Manufacturing Design Engineering Manager, you'll take ownership of process optimisation and continuous improvement activity across manufacturing operations.
- You'll combine Lean and continuous improvement methodologies with strong process engineering fundamentals to improve flow, efficiency, quality and throughput, working cross-functionally with production, engineering and quality teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen tools
- Analysing and improving manufacturing processes, layouts and material flow
- Driving improvements in productivity, quality, throughput and OEE
- Using KPI and performance data to identify root causes and prioritise improvement activity
- Supporting standardisation and best-practice manufacturing processes
- Acting as a technical authority, coaching teams in problem-solving and new ways of working
