This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and growing UK based manufacturing business and to play a pivotal role in their R&D and material development functions. This position will contribute to the design, testing and optimisation of new and existing materials, as well as ensuring adherence with industry standards and customer requirements. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, this role presents excellent personal and professional growth opportunities.
Candidate:
- With a degree in materials science, engineering or a related field, you possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the manufacturing sector in a materials R&D role.
- You have strong skills in the development, testing and optimisation of materials used in industrial applications, and ideally have worked extensively with polymers.
- You are comfortable working in a fast paced, high-volume environment, and are looking for a role where you will be able to take on additional responsibilities and achieve growth.
