Our client is a leading Civil Engineering company with a healthy order book for the next four years. Due to an increase in workload they are looking to expand their management team with an experienced Project Manager to oversee HV / EHV projects.

Salary to 80k Company Car / Allowance + Fuel card Annual Bonus Family Healthcare Stakeholder Pension 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Project Manager Key Essentials:

Reporting to senior management, your role will involve project managing turnkey HV / EHV Substation Construction and Refurbishment projects

Overseeing a site operations team, you will be responsible for conducting regular site progress meetings with the client

Full responsibility for ensuring that all projects are constructed to CDM Regulations in a safe manner as per designs, documented and recorded correctly

Working closely with the commercial team, having full awareness of NEC projects at all times, ensuring that variations are captured

Ensuring that Project Planners are regularly updated accordingly throughout the project

Carrying out regular site audits, ensuring that works are carried out to CDM Regs.

Ensuring works are completed to company SHEQ guidelines

Full overview of project resources, ensuring that they are available when required

Project Manager Requirements:

Previous project manager experience of HV / EHV Substation build, civils and cabling with good knowledge of current legislation, technical standards and specifications

Good commercial awareness and knowledge of NEC contracts

Excellent knowledge of CDM Regs.
