Key responsibilities of a Project Manager (Packaging):
- Develop a strong working relationship with the client and print supply chain.
- Producing work documentation on time for the right first production.
- Ensuring client expectations are met or exceeded.
- Measurement of performance levels and conducting reviews.
- Ensuring invoicing data is correct to allow timely payment.
- Involvement in print feasibility, artwork, and reprographics.
- Evaluating colour control with the supply chain.
- Development and growth of the services provided by the supplier are essential to building relationships with clients and print supply chain.
Experience required for a Project Manager (Packaging):
- Experience in a packaging industry specifically understanding of Flexographic printing.
- 2 years minimum experience working in a similar role.
- Project Management/Account Management experience within packaging is ideal.
- High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organisation.
- Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail and deadlines.
- Ability to work overtime as necessary.
