Are you a proven leader with experience delivering large-scale, high rise residential projects from inception to completion We are seeking an exceptional Project Director to lead the delivery of a landmark GBP60m+ high-rise residential development in Milton Keynes.

The Project

A prestigious new-build scheme that will redefine urban living, this development will comprise 20 storeys and high-spec residential units, featuring modern amenities and cutting-edge design. With planning approved and enabling works underway, we are seeking a Director to take full control of the delivery phase.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the project from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Manage all project stakeholders, including the client, consultants, main contractor, and key suppliers
  • Oversee programme, risk management, budget control, and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Drive progress meetings, manage commercial performance, and handle any escalated issues proactively
  • Act as the key point of contact for strategic decision-making on-site and in board-level meetings

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience in successfully delivering high-rise residential schemes over GBP50m in value
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams
  • Deep understanding of construction methodology, contract administration (JCT/Design & Build), and programme delivery
  • Adept in managing stakeholders, budgets, risk, and reporting at an executive level
  • Relevant qualifications in construction, engineering, or project management (MCIOB, MRICS, or similar preferred)
