Process Engineer - Advanced Manufacturing

Cheltenham\\n Salary: c. £45,000 – £50,000\\n\\nThe role: \\n\\nOur client is seeking a proactive Process Engineer to join their Operations team in Cheltenham. In this permanent role, you'll drive optimisation across manufacturing processes, focusing on quality, efficiency and continuous improvement.

You'll play a key part in introducing new products and processes while reducing waste and supporting high-performance manufacturing.\\n\\nKey responsibilities:\\n\\nSupport daily process engineering across the whole team\\nApply standardised tools like PFMEA, Control Plans, VSM, SPC and SOPs\\nAnalyse process data to identify improvements and cost-saving opportunities\\nDrive process control, flow efficiency and waste reduction\\nLead or support new product/process introductions\\nCollaborate cross-functionally on lean initiatives and troubleshooting\\nSupport audits, KPI reporting and annual improvement planningAbout you: \\n\\nSignificant process engineering experience in a complex manufacturing setting\\nSkilled in lean tools such as Yamazumi, Time-Study (MOST), VSM, SPC\\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills\\nAble to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment\\nMethodical, detail-oriented and self-motivated\\nExperience with APQP tools (PPAP, PFMEA, etc.), Lean manufacturing techniques (5S, SMED, etc.) and project management toolsThe company:\\n\\nThis is an opportunity to join an innovative, growth-focused organisation, known for their engineering excellence and strong team culture.
