Project Delivery Manager – Onshore Gas Industry

We\’re seeking a Project Delivery Manager to oversee and drive the successful execution of multiple projects within the UK onshore gas industry . This is a hands-on leadership role, where you\’ll manage your own portfolio while ensuring best practices, efficiency, and risk control across the wider team.
Overview
As the Project Delivery Manager, you will lead and mentor a skilled team of Project Managers and Support Staff, manage a diverse portfolio of projects, oversee risk, subcontractor relationships, and financial controls, and play a key role in shaping strategy and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing project team
- Manage a portfolio of onshore gas projects, ensuring successful delivery
- Oversee risk, budgets, and subcontractor performance
- Drive collaboration between sales, design, and manufacturing teams
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Quality standards
- Support business development, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years\’ experience in project delivery (engineering, gas, or related sectors)
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with project scheduling tools (MS Project or similar)
- Project management certification (Prince2, PMP, APM preferred)
- HND/Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
- Experience managing subcontractors and supply chains
Day-to-day
- Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours/week (core hours 10am-4pm)
- Location: Staffordshire-based with travel to client sites (occasional overnight stays)
