Birmingham - Hybrid working based

Are you a forward-thinking engineer ready to revolutionise sustainable agriculture?

We're looking for an experienced Irrigation System Design Specialist to play a key role in designing cutting-edge irrigation systems for our clients' world leading and sustainable Agri-tech solutions. This is a design-led position where your technical expertise will directly influence the efficiency and productivity of controlled environment agriculture.

What You'll Do:

• Create detailed 3D designs and schematics for high-performance irrigation systems
• Produce schematics, plans, elevations, and 3D models suitable for procurement and construction
• Optimise flow schedules to boost plant health and yields
• Integrate smart control systems and tackle water quality challenges
• Take concepts from the drawing board to real-world implementation

What You'll Bring:

• Solid experience in irrigation design (hydroponics, greenhouses, or industrial water systems)
• Mastery of AutoCAD Inventor or similar, and irrigation / water control systems
• Understanding of water treatment and system optimisation
• A creative, solutions-driven mindset and strong collaboration skills
• Hands on experience advantageous to enable the successful transition of design to reality, leading to full industrialisation of the solutions.
